Carlos Guijarro is an Industrial Designer based in Berlin. His approach to design has its roots in intuition and purity, with a prominent influence from the Bauhaus and Suprematism movements. Noble and sophisticated materials are at the core of his project developments. Guijarro's works are characterized by the use of formal geometrics blended from crafted production to the latest digital techniques.
Guijarro, was born to parents of Spanish origin, and studied Industrial Design at Elisava School in Barcelona. He was granted a scholarship to study an MA in Spatial Design at the Domus Academy in Milan, where he graduated with high recognition. Through the course of his career he collaborated with a wide range of talent, including but not limited to Max Longin (Denmark), Reinier de Jong (Rotterdam), Studio Koster (Milan) and Fundbüro Studio (Berlin). In 2017 he cofounded OrtegaGuijarro Studio together with Alex Ortega. Following this venture, Guijarro started his own personal project in 2022, where he explored the relationship between the digital and physical worlds.
